Grandma's cooking made contemporary
Otto! offers meals typical for the Bratislava region – influenced not only by Slovak and Czech cuisine but also by Austrian, Hungarian and Jewish culture.
The visual identity for Otto! is inspired by the visual aesthetics of restaurants and bistros from the second half of the twentieth century. Hand-drawn lettering, quirky typography and a simple colour palette were signature elements of the era.
That way, we created an image that blends well with the city but stands out enough to attract hungry customers from far and wide. Thanks to the clear concept, Otto! became an instant hit right after opening and a few years later, customers were happy to follow it to a bigger place.
