Jerseys for an all-female cycling crüe
Jazdím Čiernu Stredu is a Bratislava-based all-female cycling crüe on a mission to inspire and support female cyclists. They organise cycling trips, educate about the rules of group cycling, share tips and tricks on how to ride on the road and hold discussions about feminism and female empowerment.
For the 2021 season, they hired us to design a custom jersey that is not just "another average cycling jersey that looks FAST!" The jersey is covered with hidden messages and icons that represent the spirit of the group. The dominant message on the back of the jersey "Girls & Gears" became their motto for the 2021 season. The jerseys were made from recycled materials by the amazing people at Isadore. The proceeds from the jersey sales supported an NGO helping to protect victims of domestic violence.
